The calculator uses standard date arithmetic: days are 24-hour periods, weeks are 7-day periods, months follow calendar month boundaries, and years follow calendar year boundaries. All calculations automatically account for leap years in the Gregorian calendar and varying month lengths. For date difference, the result shows both the total elapsed time in each unit (e.g., total days, total hours) and the calendar breakdown (years, months, remaining days). Weekday counts are computed by iterating through every day in the range.

What is the formula for date difference?
