About Malaysia's Vaccine Rollout
The Malaysian government began its vaccination drive in February 2021, initially prioritizing frontliners and high-risk groups. The program was managed by the Special Committee on COVID-19 Vaccine Supply (JKJAV) and the Ministry of Health (KKM). Vaccines authorized included Pfizer-BioNTech, Oxford-AstraZeneca, Sinovac, and CanSinoBIO.
