The calculator uses the sphere volume formula V = 4/3 × π × r³ and applies your chosen ball size ratio (1:2:3 Classic, 3:5:8 Fibonacci, or the Golden Ratio 1:1.618:2.618) to determine the three sphere diameters. In Snow Available mode, the total usable snow volume is calculated from your snow cover thickness and yard area, then the largest possible snowman dimensions are computed. In Target Size mode, the required snow volume is derived from your desired height, reverse-calculating from the sphere diameters.
