By testing all 6 possible package orientations against your pallet dimensions and maximum load height, it finds the optimal stacking arrangement for efficient pallet loading.
The calculator uses a brute-force orientation algorithm: for each of the 6 permutations of the package's width, length, and height mapped to the pallet's width, length, and vertical height axes, it computes how many packages fit per layer and how many layers fit within the load height. The orientation yielding the highest total package count is selected as the optimal arrangement. Pallet utilization is reported as the percentage of total pallet volume occupied by packages.
