The Minecraft End Portal Finder helps you locate the End Portal in your Minecraft world without any mods or cheats. By throwing just two Eyes of Ender from different locations and recording their coordinates and direction, you can triangulate the exact position of the nearest stronghold's End Portal.

The calculator uses a standard triangulation formula. The Minecraft bearing (measured in degrees clockwise from south) is automatically converted to a cartesian angle by adding 90 degrees. The intersection of the two directional lines gives the portal coordinates: X3 = ((Z1 − Z2) + X2 × tan(θ2) − X1 × tan(θ1)) / (tan(θ2) − tan(θ1)) and Z3 = (Z1 × tan(θ2) − Z2 × tan(θ1) + (X2 − X1) × tan(θ2) × tan(θ1)) / (tan(θ2) − tan(θ1)).

The tool works for both Java Edition (using the F3 debug screen for precise bearings) and Bedrock Edition (using a ground compass method for visual bearing estimation). Results include the portal's X and Z coordinates plus the distance in blocks from each throw location. How do I measure the bearing in Minecraft?
